Dance Fireworks

The Hamburg Ballet is celebrating a milestone birthday and everyone is invited. Right at the beginning of the anniversary season, John Neumeier and his company invite you in front of the city hall for a dance fireworks. On September 3, 2022, the Hamburg Ballet will take you on a journey into "The World of John Neumeier", open air and free entrance – a kind of danced biography with excerpts from choreographies from 50 years.

The First Mayor of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Peter Tschentscher, will be a guest at the event and will open the approx. two-hour program with a welcoming speech.

There is free admission to the Dance Fireworks and doors open at 6.30 pm, an hour and a half before the event begins (8.00 pm). A total of nearly 3,000 seats are available for free seating, as well as additional standing room.
