American Soundscapes - Attention: The event will be moved from the opera stabile to the ‘Stifter Lounge’ in the IV. tier of the State Opera!

In this season too the Hamburg State Opera is inviting you to the ‚AfterWork‘. On specific Thursdays and Fridays, from 18.00 to 19.00 in the opera stabile you can celebrate with us the beginning of the weekend with different styles of music and theater from artists and guests.

At the AfterWork on 6 June in the StifterLounge, mezzo-soprano Kady Evanyshyn and pianist Chris Reynolds invite you on a colorful musical journey through 20th century America. From the visionary sounds of Charles Ives to the expansive, folk-inspired melodies of Aaron Copland and many more. An evening full of musical discoveries.
