The Hamburg Ballet took advantage of the lockdown of the cultural sector and recorded this repertoire classic with film director Myriam Hoyer in 4K resolution and under studio conditions in the empty Hamburg State Opera. The release of the ballet film version is planned this summer.
In addition to the release of the DVD and the Blu-ray, there will be an exclusive screening of the ballet on big screen at the Hamburg State Opera on June 21 as part of the 46th Hamburg Ballet Days. A live performance of the ballet is planned for June 25.
