In this season too the Hamburg State Opera is inviting you to the ‚AfterWork‘. On specific Thursdays and Fridays, from 18.00 to 19.00 in the opera stabile you can celebrate with us the beginning of the weekend with different styles of music and theater from artists and guests.

In the last AfterWork of the season, the young baritone Nicholas Mogg and his duo partner Jâms Coleman take us into dream worlds - into the sweetest dreams, brightest moonlit nights and darkest nightmares. Classics such as Schumann's "Waldesgespräch" and "Mondnacht", Schubert's "Erlkönig" or Fauré's "Après un rêve" meet night pieces by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Frank Bridges, Henri Duparc, Johannes Brahms and others and sound from no less than three centuries of dreamlike music history.
