Marianne Kruuse Marianne Kruuse was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and received her training in Copenhagen and Paris. During her long performance career, she danced with the Scandinavian Ballet (1959–1961), Théatre d’Art du Ballet (1961–1962), Mulhouse Ballet (1962–1963) and Stuttgart Ballet (1965–1970). She was a principal dancer with the Frankfurt Ballet from 1970 to 1973 and with The Hamburg Ballet from 1973 to 1985. Since 1985 , Marianne Kruuse has been engaged with The School of the Hamburg Ballet, as a teacher and, since 1993, as Pedagogical Principal and Deputy Director.

Kevin Haigen trained at the School of American Ballet and the American Ballet Theater School. He danced with the American Ballet Theatre, before joining the Hamburg Ballet in 1976, being promoted to Principal dancer in 1977. He also worked with Nederlands Dans Theater, les Ballets de Monte-Carlo (as dancer, Ballet Master and Choreographer), English National Ballet, and finally Béjart Ballet Lausanne (1988-1991). Kevin Haigen returned to the Hamburg Ballet in 1991 as Ballet Master for the company and teacher for the Ballet School. In 2006 he was promoted to Principal Ballet Master. Kevin Haigen is frequently invited as guest teacher.

Lloyd Riggins, from New York/USA, received his education at the School of Southern Ballet Theatre in Orlando, Florida. He had engagements at the Southern Ballet Theatre in Orlando, FL (1985-1987) and the Royal Danish Ballet (1987-1995, 1989 as Principal). Since 1995 he has been member of the Hamburg Ballet as a Principal. In 2005 he additionally became one of the teachers of the School of the Hamburg Ballet and furthermore he was named to be a Ballet Master for the company in 2006. |

Brita Adam was committed by John Neumeier 1978 to his newly founded Ballet School. She is originally from Berlin and as dancer she was part of many German Companies ( et al. in Darmstadt and Aachen). After her education as a dance teacher she worked at the school of the Stuttgart Ballet. In Hamburg she teaches classical dance and folklore, i.e. national and folk dance (et al. Spanish snapper technique). |

Carolina Borrajo was born Zaragoza, Spain. She was educated at the Marìa de Ávila Ballet School in her native town and at the Ballet School of the Hamburg Ballet. After her first Engagement at the Ballet classico de Zaragoza, she became a Soloist at Opera of Bonn, at the Hessian States Theater Wiesbaden and at the Ballet of Luzern. She received her Diploma as a children’s dance teacher and stage dance teacher at the States University of performing arts in Mannheim. |

Ann Drower, born in Wimbledon/Great Britain and educated at Royal Ballet School in London, was a dancer in many German Cities (et al. as a Soloist in Kiel and Hanover). From 1976 until 1982 she danced at the ensemble of the Hamburg Ballet. Since then she is in charge of the preschool classes. As a ballet mistress she is responsible for the rehearsals of every part in a performance of The Hamburg Ballet, which is danced by the ballet students. |

Beatrice Schickendantz-Giger was born in Basel, Switzerland. She worked as a professional dancer in her native town and in Cologne. After her education as a dance teacher, she was a ballet mistress and head of training at the Theatre of Basel under the direction of Heinz Spoerli. In September 1978 John Neumeier engaged her to become a teacher in his newly founded Hamburg Ballet School. Besides ballet and modern dance (based on Martha Graham Technique) she also teaches dance composition. |

Christian Schön is from Hamburg and successfully completed the Ballet School of The Hamburg Ballet. As a dancer he was part of the Dortmund Ballet, the Ballet of the Opera in Bonn and the Ballet Theater Hagen. After his education as a ballet teacher he in Toronto/Canada, he worked in Maastricht/Netherlands. Since 2003 he teaches the boys of the middle class and the theater class, as well as Pas de deux. |

Stacey Denham was born in New York. She danced et al. at the Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre Repertory Company, the Clive Thompson Dance Company, at Judith Jamison, at the Washington D.C. City Ballet Company and at the Theatre of the West. As a long time guest teacher she teaches the theatre classes in modern dance after Horton-Technique. |

Irina Jacobson was educated in Leningrad by Agrippina Vaganova and afterwards danced at the Kirov Ballet. After her marriage with the soviet choreographer Leonid Jacobson (1904-1975), she worked as his assistant until he died and then joined the Bolschoi Ballet as a ballet mistress. In 1982 she emigrated to America and worked as a in great demand ballet and trainings mistress et al. in San Francisco, at the Royal Ballet in London, at the Dutch National Ballet, at the Bavarian States Ballet and at The Hamburg Ballet, where she is a pedagogical advisor since 1985 and coaches the Company as a guest ballet mistress. |

Ursula Ziegler was born in Ludwigshafen. She successfully completed the education at a sports and gymnastics school. Since 1971 she was a governess and the deputy director of the boarding school of the John Cranko-School in Stuttgart. Since 1979 she is the organizational director of the ballet school of The Hamburg Ballet. 2007 she was decorated by the German occupational union of dance education "for the decades of her exemplary and caring assistance of the dancing offspring".
