Stacey Denham, born in New York City, studied at the Washington School of Ballet and with Carolyn Tate. After that she got a scholarship for the Alvin Ailey School in New York and also studied acting and singing at various schools (Broadway Theatre School, Circle in the Square, American Dance Machine et al.). One of her focuses is on the Horton Technique for modern Ballet.
Stacey Denham performed with many American Modern and Jazz companies, among them Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, D.C. City Ballet and The Impulse Dance Company. In addition to that she participated in various musical productions in the USA and abroad, such as "Dreamgirls", "Fame" and "Earnest in Love".
She lives in Germany for more than 15 years now and has taught Jazz and Modern Dance at various dance schools (Stockholm Ballet Academy, Theater an der Wien, Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance, The Hamburg Ballet, Stella Academy in Hamburg et al.). She also choreographs for various shows, music videos and stage productions.
